Tredi Bowler

From The Desk Of Tredi Bowler

When you go out to do a search for a Blog Traffic School, why does it always seem so frusturating? When looking into maybe doing a little blogging in the beginning, I’d heard of Blogging from a couple of programs that I was attending at the time, but at the same time I was trying to make a living from home.

Having accomplished blogging by finally finding and attending a Blog Traffic School, while working from home in various other ways, my initial way to get there, to find a mentor, and be taught how to only Blog, had been painstakingly evident, thus, why I created this page.

It was all just WAY TO MUCH INFORMATION, which totally was off the cut of what I needed to go forward. Everything on all the sites I visited which expressed a Blog Traffic School, was too much information, no straightfoward actionable education. All I needed was the basics of How to Blog, since it was already big in other peoples lives, I wanted to do it now, so then the search went on.. and on.. to then find the countless sites of bull education to go forward, and to then finally freakin graduate, to then go out and do my thing..

My name is Tredi, I am an International Marketer. My name is pronounced Tread-dee. I am a person who, when I find something that may seem interesting, I do research.. and if I like it… then I want to go forward, NOT do more research to see if this is what it is, Don’t talk me into something I do or don’t want to do. We all do a search, and bump into everything under the sun, all great offers, until they give you everything but what they promised you in the first place, with plenty of upsells immediately after.

So, I set out, I created this blog about how to get to that point, sign up, and start learning, to go to a Blog Traffic School, and get the education I wanted then, simple! To then go out and get ‘er done, graduation baby.

It’s what I needed, in the beginning. A step-by-step, simply put, a Blog Traffic School.. A place to learn how to just blog, nothing else.

I should have named this Just Blog College.. eh? I would have, but my reasearch results gave me this key phrase to work with, to get into the positions in the search engines, where you found me.

So, in short, you want to learn how to blog, or get more traffic to your site, then step into my world, and get ‘er done.

Having had to go through all the bull, I’m happy to give you the path around that. Each link on this page brings you to a different training. Click on anyone, and if you’re ready, then sign up on any of those training pages, and get to work in the Blog Traffic School.

Breaking News

21 October, 2008 (17:09) | Uncategorized | By: admin

Subject: BREAKING NEWS

Dear Peoples,

What a month! Lehman brothers, Merrill Lynch, Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae, the bail-out bill is growing and things are getting worse - and they’re only going to get tougher as the financial ripples spread out across the industries and around the globe!

We all need to make sure that we are in a position to be indispensable, if we are going to weather the financial storm ahead!

And as a good contact in my network, I wanted to offer you something that would help:

Click On This Link For Free Info!

It’s a f-ree report that was compiled for a ‘big name’ client’s talent management programme.

They wanted to know how their top guys pulled-in the big business and did what they did, and this is the result.

These guys are never going to be out of work, and you really need to hear about how they did it!

Just Click Here

I hope that your company, or own biz pushes on through, and I hope that this helps you be one of the glorious survivors.

There is no charge, consider it a goodwill offering in the spirit of the pulling together as a network!

Keep well and prosper, so make sure you sign-up for their ‘Big Plan’ document.

You’ll see why this is what they’ve been hiding from us!

I just can’t believe I never got this advice before. I wish someone had told me it years ago, but I suppose it’s better late than never! Some people get more support than others, I guess.

Have a look at this short document, and you’ll see what I mean:

Just Go And Check It Out Here, Or Don’t, but it will help you!

Have a look a their document - I hope you’re ready for it!

You see, it’s some really timely advice here: How to hold on to your job - or get a new one - or build your business. It seems there are some common threads that we’ve all got to learn! I don’t often do this, but I want to draw your attention to this website:

It’s a video

The document they’re offering is frankly outstanding. Incisive advice, compact, direct and to-the-point. It’s something we should all learn to do - or should be reminded about regularly.

They’re showing us that, somehow the world changed, and it seems to me we’ve all got to get used to it. Maybe the document will open your eyes to what you’re doing wrong, what you’re not doing, or what you could do better…

Have a look and see whether you ‘get’ it! I wish I’d been shown this stuff earlier.

Best regards,

Tredi

P.S. I’m not sure how long this site will be up before they charge for it - I don’t know why they’re giving it away! And it’s certainly worth lookin at..

I’ve often wondered how some people seem to land on their feet all the time.

I don’t know what’s happening in your life right now, but I know a lot of people are feeling the pinch - or trying to make a change - or just hold on to what they’ve got! So this could be a great time to learn their secret!

These guys seem to be answering the question…what do you think?

Last Time I’ll Tell Yah.. Go check it out before its gone!

I can see how this would work for business people as well as employees. Some differences, but not much. Please tell me what do you think?

Warm regards,

Tred

Tips For Blogging And Building An Audience To Your Blog

14 October, 2008 (08:46) | Blog Traffic School | By: admin

Blog Tips

If you just started blogging, chances are you don’t have many readers, if any at all.

If you are wondering what you are doing wrong, and what you need to do in order to build and audience, this article with help.

Hi Friend, hope your doing well today! It’s awesome in Maine, day of Fall.. so, lets get right into it..

Why is it that some bloggers have all the traffic and others are lucky if they have about 10 visitors a day? You may write regular content for your blog but because no one reads it, you feel like you are wasting your time.

All blogs are not created equal. Guy Kawasaki started a blog and a few weeks after launching he had over 4,000 daily readers.  So what made him different?  Guy is a famous author and biz speaker, so he had the benefit of lots of other bloggers and media spreading the word about his blog for him.  And chances are you don’t have the same advantage as Guy.  I didn’t, I had to earn my blog traffic the hard way and jump from one training to another.

Do You Know How To Market?

Blogging is like starting your own print newsletter or “fanzine”.  First you put the hard work in, gather a collection of articles, images and other content and launch your new publication.  It’s soo sweet when this actually happens.

Once the first issue is ready it’s time to get out there and show it to everyone.  You won’t have a marketing budget or the benefits of a public relations officer drumming up free publicity for you.  But this is done easily and for free in the right ways. But in the beggining, yes, you have to do it for yourself to be able to spend your profits on your advertising, so in the end, your spending time doing the fun stuff, not the time-consuming stuff.

You wear all the hats for you blog tho: author, publisher, marketer and public relations.

This is why a lot of bloggers fail, they think it’s soo hard.  You produce good content but you don’t know how to market your blog.

Most bloggers do not know where the best places are to drum up traffic and instead use “shotgun” tactics - haphazardly shooting for traffic all over the place using as many random methods as possible with no thought into exactly what is the smart way to get traffic, landing you on the first pgs of google and of the sort.

No methodology. No process.

Start at the beginning

So if you want to learn how to drive traffic to your already exsisting blog and/or to set up a money making blog and prosper, save yourself time and sign up now, and I’ll see you on the other side.

The first step to build blog traffic is acceping the fact that you will have to *work* for your traffic.  No one is going to do it for you, except the other bloggers on the other side have been taught ways to help eachother drive traffic to your blog in exchange of you doing the same for theirs.  Your blog is your baby and you are a single parent, solely responsible for its growth.  Same goes for any biz,  but working from home changes everything.

Are you okay with that?  Do you accept the burdens?

Yes? Good! Okay, let’s move foward.

Blog traffic building begins, just like a magazine, by creating something worth reading.  You would never go out and hand out copies of your fanzine if it had only one or two articles in it.

Before we even talk about finding readers for your blog you have to ask whether the readers you are chasing will even read your blog once they get there.

Is your blog AMAZING?  Do you have great content?

Do You even know what great content is?

Take a good look at your blog and review whether your starting content is worthy enough to  capture and retain the attention of readers.  If you just switched the ‘on’ button for your blog then there is only one thing you need to worry about.  Forget the traffic dude, sitt down, get your writers hat on and start writing articles, it’s easy to find content out there to write about, but you need to do it the right way or you’ll get TAGGED by the authorities man.  Once taught how to write about stuff.. you’re all set.

If you haven’t done so already, cover at least these topics before properly launching your blog.. ok..

1.  Your About Page

Who are you?  What you are blogging about and why would a person want to read your blog?  What’s in it for them?

Talk about the BENEFITS for your readers, NOT the features of your blog.

2.  Your Contact Page

You need a contacts page because you want to make it easy for your readers to get in touch with you.  If possible, include a nice smiley picture of your face on your contacts page, to make your blog more personal.

Other possible contact details you might consider to include in your contacts page:

- Phone number (if you are comfortable with this)

- Mailing address (ditto)

- Skype, MSN Messenger or Google talk contact details

- A link to your Linked-In, Facebook or MySpace profile

- Your Twitter, StumbleUpon or Digg profile

You can place anything you feel comfortable making available to the public on your contact page.

Personable.. you need to come across as yourself and not some marketing company.  People don’t care anymore for companies.  All over the internet is not companies anymore, it personable and down to earth.. it’s way more ‘in’ these days.

3. Pillar Articles

I’ll discuss the concept of “pillar articles” in more depth in an upcoming article, but for the moment you need to start working on some nice, fat, juicy, meaty… right, you got the picture.. SOLID articles!  Something substantial.  Something worth reading and about facts that teach your audience about the subjects relevant to your blog topic.  Not just news reposts from other websites.  This is orginal from your mind.

So be creative, be interesting, and be inspirational, demonstrate these elements through your blog articles.

Laying The Foundations

Do you know what a pre-launch is?

A pre-lauch is what you need to do before you *launch* your blog.  You take certain actions right, and set up the foundations at your blog before you tell anybody.

So your purpose of a pre-launch is so you don’t go wasting your time marketing your blog to build traffic before anything is in your blog.  There’s no point trying to sell an empty book, right?

Don’t bother looking for traffic in the first month of blogging.  Your blog is online, but it’s better if people don’t know this until you get something there worth reading.  Once the content is in place and you finish all the pre-launch stuff, then you can officially “launch” and get the word out about your blog.  Whoop! lol

So get down, work on your pre-launch stuff and you will be ready and confident when you start to drum up your initial traffic that the new readers you get, will essentially stick around and not high tail it, or click away from your blog.

What Goes Into A Pre-Launch?

If you need help with your blog pre-launch and want to know what the step-by-step steps to take during the first month of creating a new successful blog, I have your way into a private blog training program you can join.

This hands on Mentoring course is called Blog Mastermind and provides a step-by-step guide to take your blog from zero to hero, explode your traffic and build a solid income stream, so you can quit your job and earn a full time income from blogging part time.

Blog Traffic School ~ Inspirational Moments.. To Have A Blog Is To Touch People In A Certain Way!

7 October, 2008 (13:12) | Blog Traffic School | By: admin

I fell upon this awesome article in The Retriever Weekly about a man named Frank Warren and what his blog does for people. Katrina Cohen, who wrote the article, explains wonderfully how inspiring a blog can be, through Warrens experience.

Katrina tells in all her glory how Warren’s Blog expresses healing, transformative power, of people writing down a secret and sending it away.. wonderfully put.. setting it free! And it’s done in Warrens Blog. He goes on to describe his experience, where the journey of secrets facinates him, to say the least.

In Katrina’s words, the expression, word choice, and visual creativity is expressed on the Post cards Warren receives from thousands of people writing their own secrets down on so many different objects, reminds him of poetry.

For those of you that don’t know where to start or how to start a blog, or even don’t know if they want to, these are inspirational moments in figuring out what your passionate in, how you can touch people with your favorite hobby, and communicate it to the world, helping people along the way!

I wanted to share this because I was having trouble writing today, and so I did a search and found this. As soon as I was done reading, I subscribed to their RSS feed to receive more when they write something new. The newspaper is created by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Student Newspaper, and it is Sweet.

It brought many smiles my way, and so I bring this article to your fingertips!

Enjoy!

Blog Traffic School And How To Blog

1 October, 2008 (12:37) | Blog Traffic School | By: admin

In answering your questions pertaining to: How To Blog There are basically two types of bloggers in the world - reporters and experts - and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it’s hard for reporters to become experts, but it’s easy for experts to report).

If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.

I’ll be frank; you want to be the expert, And this is what you’ll learn to do exactly, to the point, in The Blog Traffic School.

In Learning How To Blog, Reporters leverage the content of the experts and in most cases people start off as reporters because they haven’t established expertise. Experts enjoy the perks of preeminence, higher conversion rates because of perceived value, it’s easier to get publicity, people are more likely to seek you out rather than you having to seek others out, joint ventures come easier, etc… experts in most cases simply make more money and attract more attention.

Most Bloggers Are Reporters

The thing with expertise is that it requires something - experience. No person becomes an expert without doing things and learning. Bloggers usually start out without expertise and as a result begin their blogging journey by talking about everything going on in their niche (reporting) and by interviewing and talking about other experts (reporting again).

There’s nothing wrong with reporting of course and for many people it’s a necessity at first until you build up some expertise. Unfortunately the ratios are pretty skewed when it comes to reporters and experts - there are a lot more reporters than there are experts, hence reporters tend to struggle to gain attention and when they do, they often just enhance the reputation of the expert they are reporting on.

Don’t Replicate Your Teacher

If you have ever spent some time browsing products in the learn Internet marketing niche you will notice a pattern. Many people first study Internet marketing from a “guru” (for lack of a better term). The guru teaches how he or she is able to make money online, and very often the view that the student gleams is that in order to make money online you have to teach others how to make money online.

The end result of this process is a huge army of amateurs attempting to replicate what their teacher does in the same industry - the Internet marketing industry - not realizing that without expert status based on a proven record and all the perks that come with it, it’s next to impossible to succeed.

Even people, who enjoy marginal success, say for example growing an email list of 1,000 people, then go out and launch a product about how to grow an email list of 1,000 people. Now I have no problems with that, I think it’s fine to teach beginners and leverage whatever achievements you have, the problem is that people gravitate to the same niche - Internet marketing - and rarely have any key points of differentiation.

How many products out there do you know of that all claim to teach the same things - email marketing, SEO, pay per click, affiliate marketing, and all the sub-niches that fall under the category of Internet marketing. It’s a saturated market, yet when you see your teachers and other gurus making money teaching others how to make money (and let’s face it - making money as a subject is one of the most compelling) - your natural inclination is to follow in their footsteps.

If the key is to become an expert and you haven’t spent the last 5-10 years making money online, I suggest you look for another niche to establish expertise in.

Report on Your Process, Not Others

The secret on How To Blog is to progress from reporter to expert, and is not to focus on other experts and instead report on your own journey. When you are learning how to do something and implementing things day by day, or studying other people’s work, you need to take your process and what you do as a result of what you learn, and use it as content for your blog.

It’s okay to talk about experts when you learn something from them, but always relate it to what you are doing. If you learn a technique from an expert it’s fine to state you learned it from them (and affiliate link to their product too!) but you should then take that technique, apply it to what you are doing and then report back YOUR results, not there’s. Frame things using your opinion - your stories - and don’t regurgitate what the expert said. The key is differentiation and personality, not replication.

Expertise comes from doing things most people don’t do and then talking about it. If you do this often enough you wake up one day as an expert, possibly without even realizing how it happened, simply because you were so good at reporting what you did.

You Are Already An Expert

Most people fail to become experts (or perceived as experts) because they don’t leverage what they already know. Every person who lives a life learns things as they go, takes action every day and knows something about something. The reason why they never become an expert is because they choose not to (which is fine for some, not everyone wants to be an expert), but if your goal is to blog your way to expertise and leave the world of reporting behind you have to start teaching and doing so by leveraging real experience.

Experience can come from what you do today and what you have done previously; you just need to take enough steps to demonstrate what you already know and what you are presently learning along your journey. I know so many people in my life, who are experts simply by virtue of the life they have lived, yet they are so insecure about what they know, they never commit their knowledge to words for fear of…well fear.

Blogs and the Web in general, are amazing resources when you leverage them as a communication tool to spread your expertise because of the sheer scope of people they can reach. If all you ever do is talk to people in person and share your experience using limited communication mediums, you haven’t much hope of becoming an expert. Take what you know and show other people through blogging, and you might be surprised how people change their perception of you in time.

Reporting Is A Stepping Stone

If your previous experience and expertise is from an area you want to leave behind or you are starting from “scratch”, then reporting is the path you must walk, at least for the short term.

Reporting is a lot of fun. Interviewing experts, talking about what other people are doing and just being part of a community is not a bad way to learn How To Blog. In many cases people make a career of reporting (journalism is about just that), but if you truly want success and exponential results, at some point you will have to stand up and proclaim yourself as someone unusually good at something and then proceed to demonstrate it over and over again.

Have patience and focus on what you do to learn and then translate that experience into lessons for others, and remember, it’s okay to be a big fish in a small pond, that’s all most experts really are.

This article was done up by Yaro Starak, a professional blogger and my blog mentor that taught me HOW TO SIMPLY BLOG.
